Unique labelling of diesel pumps

Laser/labelling system designed for two different label formats

Task

Fully automatic application of laser-marked, pre-cut labels to diesel pumps.
Due to the large variety of parts, the labels are handled by a robot system.
With this system, all surfaces on the diesel pump housings are accessible.
Since the housings are subsequently painted, the labels are covered with protective laminate.
This is removed manually after painting.
The information on the label is then legible again.

Nd:YAG laser for label marking
Two topex 7000 label dispensing systems for provision and separation of the labels
5-axis robot system with vacuum handling for transfer of the labels to the topex label dispensing systems, and for application to the pump housings
Pneumatic pressing units for reliable transfer of the labels to the casting surface
