Sending a device to us for service/repair

Do you have a defective device that you would like to send to topex for repair or maintenance?
We're happy to help!

Please complete the attached form and send it in advance to the contact person listed below or enclose it with the device.

If you wish to send us a device, please note the following points where applicable:

1. Send any consumables as well (labels, transfer foil if relevant)

If you would like to send us a topex printer, topex dispenser or desktop printer, please also include a sufficient quantity of your original consumables as well as the controller. This is the only way that the parameters can be set correctly and the function fully checked.

2. Sending a laser

If you send your water-cooled CO2 laser to topex for inspection/repair, please carefully blow the cooling tube dry and clean with compressed air. This prevents damage (and therefore higher repair costs) caused by tarnishing.

3. Packaging/transport

If possible, send the devices in their original packaging (cardboard box, corrugated box, etc.) or with the mounting frame to avoid transport damage.

4. Costs

Checking your device involves a certain amount of work. For this reason, we charge a fee for the inspection based on the time and effort involved (min. €135.00, printheads €80.00).

Your device may be sent to the manufacturer, who will charge us inspection fees, which we will have to pass on to you. These fees vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and depend on the work involved.

It is therefore not possible to offer this service free of charge. The cost of repair/maintenance depends on the defect and the repair/maintenance work required. After the inspection, you will receive a cost estimate with a corresponding breakdown.

If you order the repair/maintenance work, the inspection fees will be offset against the repair costs.
